Sorry for such a late posting ...

Prelims start in two days time, starting with English and Social Studies. Kind of nervous, but hopefully I can do well. I'm aiming for a B3 for all subjects, except A Maths and E Maths, which I'm aiming for an A1. My blood boils whenever I think of Social Studies, I mean, what's the use of studing so many chapters with tonnes of stuff to memorise, when they are going to test us with 4 questions in the exam paper?! That's ridiculous!

The Combined Science prelim practicals are taking place tomorrow, so best of luck to my dear friends who are taking Combined Sciences. I've finished my practicals for all three sciences in the three weekdays right before Teacher's Day and they're quite easy for all I know, except the fact that I took in too much sulphur dioxide during the Chemistry practical when I was carrying out tests for gases ... it sent my nose numb for quite some time ... Seems like Kitz do not like to see this blog so dead till December, lol. So here I am blogging!

Finally August, my favourite month! But bad news is that there's only 3 months left to GCE 'O' Levels! T_T Honestly speaking I think I'm not at all ready, it just makes me more nervous as November approaches.

I went to watch Pirates of the Carribean, Dead Man's Chest at the cinemas some time ago and it's a pretty good show. The front portion was really interesting and funny, while the back part is kind of boring. But overall it's fine.

I also watched Shinobi. This movie is not in cinemas but you can find in some video shops. It's a Japanese love story, when the guy (Gennosuke) and the girl(Oboro) were ninjas from 2 villages that has been enemies for a very long time. They were then forced to fight each other ... ...
Watching this movie really kind of reminds me of William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. But the ending is very different.
Note: Shinobi is an NC16 movie due to some violence.

New Layout!

Current Mood: Fantastic

I've just finished my GCE 'O' Level Mother Tongue paper 1 and 2 this morning. Time sure flies ... Well, I just finished my Mid-Year Exams today and I'm now kind of "flying".

Lately, my mood of watching anime returned (Don't know if it's a good or bad sign). I've started watching 2 anime, one I think it used to be kind of popular some years ago and the other which is not so popular cause most people never heard of the anime before. I've stated the storyline of both Anime below.

<color=red>Fafner</color>
Tatsumiyajima is the central island in the middle of a small cluster of islands, in a sleepy backwater of the Japanese isles. Not much happens there, and the island's young people go to school knowing that their lives are likely to remain peaceful and undisturbed. Or so they have been taught... but the truth is different. The fate of mankind is on the line, and Tatsumiyajima is the last line of defense against a hostile and incomprehensible enemy. At the center of it all, fighting for Humanity's continued existence, is the giant robot Fafner, the dragon that guards this final treasure of mankind.

<color=red>Rurouni Kenshin</color>
Himura Kenshin is a vagabond with a dark past and sunny disposition. Not a ronin but a rurouni, he was never a samurai, but an assassin of utmost skill in the Meiji restoration, who in the turning point of the war simply walked away. His travels lead him to Tokyo in the 11th year of the Meiji era, where he befriends a female Kendo master, a former thief, a brawler and a doctor all with their own secrets. Together they fight off the enemies surfacing from the dark past that Kenshin cannot escape.

I've not finished watching both anime yet but their storyline sounds quite exciting ... These anime can be found and watched at Youtube.

Lastly, I've added 3 more links to the "Awards" section. Maybe I'm going to add in more fanlistings in the future ... ...

Just blogging ...

Current Mood: Dreaming

I guess now I felt the heat of being a Sec 4 student, remedials on Tuesdays for Sciences, Thursdays for Humanities, Monday and Friday for Chinese.
